After two nightmare trips up the East Coast of the USA using other map products and even a Truck GPS on my iPhone, this was what I needed all along! Unlike everything else I have tried, this thing not only handles routing based on the trailer/RV size (Length, height and weight), but also allows you to define how much propane you have on board so that routing is precise for such things as tunnels. I did notice that the traffic seems to be more accurate (real-time) if you use the Garmin drive app. I can't say the unit ever used the built in traffic feature, which is included unlike the older RV 770, but it did an excellent job of calculated true time in traffic and actual arrival times. I really liked the exact lane pictures and street signs for complicated roads like NJ/New York area. I also liked the driver assistance alerts, like sharp curve, reminders to turn off propane due to state law and red light cameras (which are fun when the light has a short yellow and you are pulling 13k pounds)! I have yet to try to voice recognition feature other than the single time the unit alerted due to a traffic event and it asked me if I wanted to re-route to save 90 mins! Of course, I said "yes" and it recognized my voice and re-routed. A final feature I found very useful is the up-ahead feature which lists gas stations, rest areas and RV parks (if you want it to) at every exit up ahead. That was useful to keep the kids content so they knew when the next bathroom stop was and made me feel more confident that the truck would make it to next fuel stop given how much fuel it uses while towing! Overall, I can't image going back to trying to use software like my built in phone navigation (Waze/Apple Maps). For an RV, this thing is a life saver! It is well worth the price and saved me much grief on my first road trip with it installed. Good job Garmin! -

Arrived much quicker than expected. I took it on a test drive without the trailer hooked up (currently snow on the ground) but it displayed rest stops, camp grounds, gas stations, warnings such as sharp curves. There were a few annoying reminders such as to turn off propane tanks. But that was easily fixed in the settings. Overall, it appears to work well. Updates easily, lots of great features! -
