I really wanted headphones that sound good but that I could also use with the phone or over Zoom meetings. My previous headphones were good on one or the other but not both.
Firstly, the headphones paired with my phone immediately when I opened the case. In order to pair with my laptop, I pressed the pair button in the case and it immediately showed on my laptop.
With regard to calls, I am really impressed, the advert says that it has 6 microphones and I have to admit that when I used this with phone calls, the sound was perfect and the other person could hear me without any issues whatsoever. I kept them on my ear all day connect to my phone, ;listening to music and in-between taking calls
and never was I tempted to take the call on my phone.
I have tried a few headphones and hands down this is the best for calls. -

I'd never heard of Earfun a few months ago, but I'm now a big fan - they are up there with Anker as a brand that sells top notch gear at decent prices. the previous Earfun earphones I got, the Air True model, were the best I've seen under £60 and picked up a 5 star what hi-fi review to prove it. These new ones are the first to feature active noise cancellation, something I've always fancied having on earphones having got used to it on full-size headphones.
For these Earfun have basically rebranded an existing product from Edifier, the NB2, and look almost exactly the same. They have been tuned by Edifer too so for all intents and purpases are a Edifer product.
Battery life is great, up to 9 hours with the noise cancellation on and 7 hours off (that's before using the case of course). With the case you'll get a whopping 32 hours without the cancelling and 24 or so with. I've been using mine for a couple of weeks on my commute and still have plenty of battery left. The case isn't wireless charging, which is a shame as the previous pair was. Waterproofing is IPX5 so you can't submerge them in water but they are fine in rain etc.
The look of them is really nice and somewhat futuristic. The touch controls are a bit limited, with no skip back for example, but the basics are covered.
On to the noise cancellation and let's get this out of the way - it works well but it's certainly not as strong as on other more expensive headphones I have. The mics work well for calls helping blocking out background noise to help others to hear you clearly.
For the sound is a fairly bass heavy dynamic sound rather than a flat sound - the mids and treble still come through clearly but the boot is fairly boosted but still tight, giving plenty of impact without becoming overly boomy. It a decent immersive soundstage too, and all feels pretty open.
They aren't perfect - lack of wireless charging on the case is a step backwards and the touch controls could be better but they represent great value for the meagre price. The noise cancellation isn't as effective as on my other more expensive headphones but it does enough to be worth it. Earfun have done it again with these, and I look forward to seeing what they come up with next. -
