This turntable is very affordable and I would highly recommend it for collectors who are new to the hobby and don’t want to spend a lot. So far I haven’t had any issues with it at all and it was a wonderful upgrade to the little suitcase turntable I had started out with.
IMPORTANT note to anyone who isn’t super tech-oriented or new to the vinyl community: you CANNOT buy the record player by itself to listen to records. You *must* buy a pair of speakers. If the speakers are passive (not active) you will also need to buy an amplifier and speaker wire. The ATLP60 comes with one of the cables you will need for speakers, but, other than that, you have to buy the other things separately. I had to do a lot of research to figure this out, for some reason it’s one of those things that nobody really tells you. Thankfully I had a friend who also collects vinyl help me figure everything out and purchase the needed parts. I hope this helps anybody interested in buying their first turntable system. -

I originally got a different record player of the same value and it skipped all my records and even scratched some of them. After doing some research I realized why and I looked for a better replacement record player. However, as someone who was new to the hobby and only looking for something to use here and there, I didn’t want to break the bank. This turntable is one of the best starter ones out there. It has things the other cheap record players don’t—such as a counterweight. It players all my records flawlessly (minus any damage from the other record player) and it sounds great. I think some people may get discouraged from buying this product because you have to purchase speakers separately, however you won’t find a good player with built in speakers. All in all, you cannot beat this product for the price. -
