More Info About Garmin RV 785 & Traffic, Advanced GPS Navigator for RVs

Did you ever get taken, or suggested to drive, down a road you shouldn't be on; even if you put in height, length, etc? This one doesn't do that. We have put in numerous destinations since we have had the 785 to try to make certain it wouldn't take us down hazardous roads, low bridges, through driveways and walls, or into a loop, like another we had. This one even beat some website routings. So, we love it. We will still check maps but have confidence in this GPS. The camera, lane departure, and collision avoidance are things we look forward to checking the next time out. The only problem we had was launching the software for the phone. We called Garmin after sending them where the screen was stuck. They told us to reduce the font size, because the EULA wasn't visible. After that it worked. It makes and receives calls hands free and uses your contact list in the phone. The magnet mount is great. We are using the sandbag from our car Garmin to set it on the dash. Since it has traffic, make sure you plug it in with the cord provided, because that's what it needs for traffic. -

I was looking for a dashcam and decided to try this out. I am very surprised by all of its versatility! I have completely planned an entire trip across Canada using this Garmin and it was much better than trying to use Google maps. It could use a few minor tweaks but is very worth the money. Also it would be usefull to have a dash mount as most motorhome drivers are sitting way back From the windshield. I would buy it again. -
